Isaiah: A Biblical Microcosm was the inaugural work of what became a 22 year long project which is now called The Isaiah Matrix. If The Isaiah Matrix seems intriguing to you, but it is a bit too complex and intimidating at first, then this is actually the perfect place to start. Isaiah: A Biblical Microcosm introduces the concept in a simple to follow and easy to understand manner. The basic premise is that Isaiah is a microcosm for the entire Bible itself. Or, if one prefers, it is like a mini-Bible within the Bible. This is seen by recognizing that the Book of Isaiah has long been known to contain two primary sections: Chapters 1-39 and Chapters 40-66 respectively. Likewise, the Bible contains two major sections as well, the Old Testament (Books 1-39) and the New Testament (Books 40-66). The key correlation was found in Isaiah Chapter 40 Verse 3 which contains the prophecy: “The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.” This prophecy comes to pass, is quoted, and fully fulfilled in Matthew (Book 40) Chapter 3: “For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.” This prompted a study of each Isaiah Chapter and a parallel relationship was found within each correlating Bible Book, e.g. Isaiah Chapter 1 with Genesis (Book 1), Isaiah Chapter 66 with Revelation (Book 66) and every Book / Chapter in between.
